Once you download the skin file, create a folder for it under the C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\skins\ folder. For example to set up the Matrix skin create a folder C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\skins\Matrix\ and unzip the zipped files there. To pick the different skins, open Messenger, select "Preferences" in menu "Edit". On the "Appareance" tab pick from the list of themes that are available.
